PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE FOR STARBUCKS® REWARDS PROGRAM (THAILAND) CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING THIS PROMOTIONAL PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.

These Terms of Use apply to your access to, and participation in, Starbucks® Rewards (“Starbucks® Rewards”) program which is operated by Starbucks Coffee (Thailand) Co., Ltd (“Starbucks”), licensee of Starbucks Corporation in Thailand. These Terms of Use do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Starbucks for products, services or otherwise. Starbucks reserves the right to change, modify and/or eliminate the Starbucks® Rewards program and/or these Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to Starbucks® Rewards at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to www.starbucks.co.th, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your participation in the Starbucks® Rewards confirms your acceptance of these Terms of Use and any such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms of Use and applicable policies and FAQs frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to Starbucks® Rewards. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, you must stop participating in Starbucks® Rewards.

The program may only be used by individuals aged twenty (20) years or older. If the User is under the age of twenty (20) years, User should review these Terms with User’s parent or guardian to make sure the User and User’s parent or guardian understand them.

Starbucks® Rewards Program

Program Overview

The Starbucks® Rewards program is one way in which Starbucks endeavors to reward and thank loyal customers for patronizing at Starbucks Coffee stores. To enroll in Starbucks® Rewards and receive program benefits, you will first need to create a “Starbucks Card” account at Starbucks.co.th/Card or download the Starbucks TH Mobile app to your mobile phone device (Android™ or IOS) and register a Starbucks Card, activate at least one (1) Starbucks Card in a participating Starbucks store in Thailand and register the same to your Starbucks Card account.

In these Terms of Use, “Activation” means that you have loaded a minimum of THB 100 onto your Starbucks Card for the first time. You can register any Starbucks Card activated in Thailand to your account at Starbucks.co.th/Card or via Starbucks TH Mobile app. The term “Starbucks Card” refers to a Starbucks Card that may be activated in Thailand only, and the term “registered Starbucks Card” refers to a Starbucks Card that has been activated in Thailand and registered to your Starbucks Card account at Starbucks.co.th/Card or via Starbucks TH Mobile app.

The registration process may require that you provide certain personal information using the online registration form, including username (email address), password, Starbucks Card number, and card security code (CSC), date and month birthday, name, address, mobile number, and marketing preferences (optional). All your Starbucks Cards activated in Thailand can be registered for use in the Starbucks® Rewards program provided that you may only have one (1) account that is personal to you and applicable under these Terms of Use Starbucks® Rewards benefits are determined based on the amount of “spending” you make and the number of “Stars” that you earn through your spending with your registered Starbucks Card(s) in participating Starbucks stores in Thailand. For each qualified purchase in which you spend with any of your registered Starbucks Cards in a participating Starbucks store in Thailand, you will receive one (1) “Star” for each THB 25 spent with your registered Starbucks Card, except during limited time promotions when Starbucks may offer “Bonus Stars” on featured products and/or services.

Stars are for promotional purposes only and have no cash value. You can use any registered Starbucks Card registered at Starbucks.co.th/Card or Starbucks mobile app to earn Stars for your spending. Please note that spending will only be calculated and Stars accumulated after the Starbucks Card is registered at Starbucks.co.th/Card. Stars and qualified purchases to earn benefits or rewards may only be accumulated under the same Starbucks Card account. Stars, qualified purchases, benefits and rewards may not be shared with or transferred to another Starbucks Card account.

Currently, there are two (2) levels of benefits in the Starbucks® Rewards program which are determined by the number of Stars that you accumulate in your account. By opening an account, and activating and registering a Starbucks Card, you will be automatically enrolled in Starbucks® Rewards at the Green Level. If you earn at least three hundred (300) Stars within the twelve (12) month period following your enrollment date and you will qualify for the Gold Level.

Once you reach a specific Level within the Starbucks® Rewards program, you will receive the benefits that are applicable to that Level only. You must continue to accumulate Stars in order to maintain your benefit level:

To obtain the Green Level, you only need to register your activated Starbucks Card at Starbucks.co.th/Card or Starbucks TH Mobile app.

To maintain all benefits of the Green Level, you must earn at least one (1) new Star to two hundred ninety nine (299) new Stars during each consecutive 12-month period following your enrollment date. If you do not earn to two hundred ninety nine (299) new Stars in each consecutive 12-month period, your Star balance will automatically reset to zero (0) and your level still maintain in Green Level.

To maintain the Gold Level, you must earn at least three hundred (300) new Stars during each consecutive 12-month period following the date you reached the Gold Level. If you do not earn 300 new Stars in 12-months (“Star balance”), you will be placed at the Green Level of Starbucks® Rewards and your Star balance will automatically reset to zero (0). If you fail to requalify at Gold level and you have Stars between 120 and 299 Stars in your account (“Reward balance”), Starbucks will add one (1) free drink in any size onto your account (subject to the Gold Level exclusions).

Please note that “Stars” accumulated for each level will only be valid during the twelve (12) month period from the date when you reach the particular level. For example: You activate your Starbucks Card at a participating Starbucks store on 16 August 2019 by loading THB 100 onto the Starbucks Card. You register that Starbucks Card on 20 August 2019. Your spending will only be considered as qualified purchase from 20 August 2019 when you can start earning Stars. If you earn three hundred (300) Stars on 15 Oct 2019, you will be placed on Gold Level and entitled to Gold Level benefits and your entitlement to Gold Level benefits will expire on 14 Oct 2020. On 15 Oct 2020, your Stars balance will reset to zero. If you have accumulated 300 Stars between 15 Oct 2019 to 14 Oct 2020 earning the required number of Stars to maintain your Gold Level, you will continue to qualify at Gold Level and be entitled to the various Gold Level benefits for the 12-month period between 15 Oct 2020 and 14 Oct 2021 but your Stars balance will be zero on 15 Oct 2021.

GREEN LEVEL

By opening an account, activating and registering your Starbucks Card, you are automatically entered into the “Green Level”. Benefits may include:

Double-Stars. You are eligible for Double only one-time amount paid when you buy any Starbucks product within 30 days upon your first account registration.

At the Green Level, you need to accumulate on three hundred (300) Stars in each subsequent 12 months from the date you open the account in order to achieve the Gold Level.

GOLD LEVEL

After having accumulated three hundred (300) Stars in a 12-month period, you achieve the “Gold Level” and your balance is reset to zero (0). Any Stars, including fractional Stars, earned after reaching the Gold Level expire twelve (12) months from the date you reach the Gold Level. For example, if you earn Stars on January 2, 2019, they will expire on January 3, 2020. After you reach the Gold Level, you need to accumulate three hundred (300) Stars in each subsequent 12-months from the date you reach the Gold Level in order to maintain the Gold Level. The benefits for Gold Level may include:

120 Stars Get one (1) Free Drink. One (1) free drink complimentary item in any sizes with free 2 (two) customizations types, after every one hundred twenty (120) additional Stars earned after reaching the Gold Level. You can redeem 120 Stars for one (1) free drink complimentary item with free 2 (two) customizations types after every 120 Stars at participating Starbucks stores. Any Stars, including fractional Stars, earned after reaching the Gold Level expire six (6) months after the next calendar month in which they earned. For example, if you earn Stars on January 2, 2019, they will expire on July 31, 2019.

You must present your registered Starbucks Card or Starbucks TH mobile app to the barista at a participating Starbucks store in order to receive your free drink complimentary item*. You will receive only one (1) free drink complimentary item regardless of the number of Starbucks Cards that you have registered to your account.

*The free drink complimentary item may be redeemed at participating Starbucks stores and excludes: Bottled beverages, Ice cream beverages, Coffee Press 8-cup beverages, Flights beverages, and selected Starbucks ReserveTM beverages.

Birthday Reward.

Your choice of one (1) complimentary handcrafted beverage in any sizes, and one (1) complimentary slice of cake item at 150.- Baht only (One Hundred Fifty Baht) (excludes packaged food) in the month of your birthday:

One set of your complimentary birthday items consisting of:

one (1) complimentary handcrafted beverage in any size with 2 (two) free customization types and;
one (1) complimentary slice of cake item (at 150.-Baht only)

Your birthday reward will be automatically loaded onto your account and will be available to you for your birthday month. The offer for the free birthday items expires within 30 (thirty) days after the first day of birthday month. You must present any of your registered Starbucks Cards or Starbucks TH mobile app to the barista at a participating Starbucks store in Thailand in order to receive your complimentary birthday items. You should redeem the whole set of the birthday items at the same time otherwise the unredeemed item will lapse. You can view and track your available Rewards on Starbucks.co.th/Card. You will receive only one set of the complimentary birthday items regardless of the number of Starbucks Cards that you have registered to your account.

The complimentary birthday items may be redeemed at participating Starbucks stores in Thailand only, and ready-to-drink bottled beverages is not available for redemption.

If you have provided Starbucks with a current, valid email address, you will receive a reminder email from Starbucks approximately on the first day of your birthday (that is, the birthday date of record that you provided in your Starbucks account information) indicating that your benefit is available to you. You can check to see if your birthday benefit is available by accessing your Starbucks Rewards on Starbucks.co.th/Card. or on the Starbucks TH mobile app.

A Digital Gold Card:

You will receive a Digital Gold card after reaching Gold Level.

Additional personalized offers:

Additional personalized offers may be distributed by email, so you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing email offers from Starbucks and provide a valid email in order to receive them. Additional terms and conditions may apply.

Special New Year Gift

If you are at the Gold Level as at 31 December of a year, you will receive a New Year Gift at the end of that year, which will be available for collection at Starbucks Stores in Thailand. We will send you a notification for the collection of the gift by email. So, you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing email offers from Starbucks and provide a valid email in order to receive this benefit. You will receive only one gift regardless of the number of Starbucks Cards that you have registered to your account.

Miscellaneous

There are no membership fees associated with Starbucks® Rewards. Stars accumulated under the program have no cash value.

Starbucks may introduce promotion programs relating to Starbucks® Rewards whereby these Terms of Use may be varied as applicable to such programs.

By accessing the Sites or utilizing the Services, you hereby consent to receiving communications from us for the purpose of offering, marketing and providing to you our Sites, products and services, as well as making any improvements to any of them.

Your Stars, benefits, registered Starbucks Card(s), and your account under the Starbucks® Rewards program are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with family, friends or others.

Starbucks reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your participation in Starbucks® Rewards if Starbucks determines in its sole discretion that you have violated these Terms of Use, or that the use of your account is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.

Starbucks also reserves the right to “unregister”, and make ineligible for the Starbucks® Rewards program, any Starbucks Card that has been inactive for two (2) consecutive years. Inactive is defined as no purchase activity. Upon un-registration, you may continue to use the un-registered Starbucks Card, but will not be entitled to receive any rewards for such un-registered Starbucks Card. If you wish to receive rewards for such Starbucks Card under the Starbucks® Rewards program, please re-register such Starbucks Card under your member account at www.starbucks.co.th

In case of any conflict between the provisions of the English version of these Terms of Use and those of any other language version, the English version will prevail.

Starbucks reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, modify or cancel the Starbucks® Rewards program at any time and in its sole discretion by posting the revisions to www.starbucks.co.th without giving specific notice to you.
